Our Esf Les Rousses ski instructors specialize in early childhood education, so your children can learn to ski with confidence. Little by little, at their own pace, they make progress and gain confidence in their technique.

Children join our Piou Piou Alpine Club from the age of 4 to learn to ski and develop their skiing skills.

Our ski instructors will guide them through the learning process, offering fun and technical activities.

In our kindergarten, designed around animal figurines that will accompany them throughout their adventure, your children will have pleasure learning to ski.

Our group course is not offered during this period. During your stay you can book a private lesson.
Our private lessons
Our group lessons during the Christmas vacations can be booked in a 3-day format : Monday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday for 100€/person including medal. This booking is only possible by e-mail or telephone.

We answer your questions

Is insurance included in the course price?
No, the course subscription does not include insurance! We recommend that you take out insurance, particularly that offered when you purchase online, or check your personal ski insurance.
Do I need to provide my child with a lift pass?
It all depends on your child's skiing ability : if they stay in Piou-Piou Club, they don't need a ski pass, but if their ski instructor decides to take them out on the slopes during the week, you'll be asked to buy a ski pass.
Children under the age of 5 are entitled to a free ski pass. Simply go to the lift ticket office and show proof of age.
Can I watch my child in the Piou-Piou Club ?
We ask you to stay away from the Piou-Piou Club premises, as children may act differently in the presence of their parents, which can hinder their progress.
What equipment do I need for my child ? Is it provided ?
No, the service does not include equipment.
You'll need to rent the necessary equipment in advance, skis, ski boots and helmet ( compulsory).
Your child won't need poles, and for safety reasons shouldn't have a sling.
In case of lack of snow ? 
Please check the home page of our website 2 days before your arrival. We will update information on snow conditions and skiability if necessary. We will do our utmost to ensure that our lessons take place in the best possible conditions, even if the resort is only partially open.

Only if the resort you're interested in is closed due to lack of snow, will we offer to relocate the lessons to a nearby site (Les Jouvencelles, Le Balancier, La Dôle, La Serra). Then, if there's no suitable venue, we'll refund the money you've paid in advance.
