Material / Equipment Nordic

Material and equipment are not included in the price of our courses, so please plan ahead to purchase or rent what you need.

Choosing your material

Material is NOT supplied by Esf Les Rousses.
Various material rentals are available in the villages of Les Rousses, Prémanon and Bois d'Amont, some at the foot of the alpine or Nordic slopes. We advise you to search on the internet for the rental nearest your home or to your lessons !

For Nordic skiing :

Boots: size appropriate, with only 1 pair of socks.
Skis : trust the professionals for adjustments.
Poles : necessary from kindergarten onwards.
For children CLASSIC cross-country ski equipment up to 3rd star, from bronze star in SKATING.

For biathlon :

We only supply rifles (precision equipment).
However, it is your responsibility to rent Nordic equipment (skis, boots, poles).

For snowshoes outings :

Snowshoes must be rented in advance.
Remember to bring good hiking boots.
We also recommend poles.

Choosing your equipment

Equipment is NOT PROVIDED by Esf Les Rousses.

We also recommend that you adapt your clothing during the lessons to the snow and weather conditions :
- Warm, waterproof ski clothing (jacket and pants)
- Gloves and hat
- Sunglasses
- Anti-UV sun cream index 3 minimum
